YMCA's Shamrocked bike event set for March 19

FORT MADISON - Gather the troops for The Fort Madison Family YMCA’s 3rd Annual Breakfast, Bike, & Brew!
The Fort Madison Family YMCA will host the "Shamrocked" theme Breakfast, Bike, & Brew
event on Saturday, March 19th.
A Pancake Breakfast will kick off the event at the Fort Madison Elks Lodge from 8:00am to
10:30am. The breakfast is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and is offered at a free will donation. Proceeds
from the breakfast will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the Fort Madison Family YMCA
facility. The annual Bike & Brew will follow the breakfast and will take riders to local businesses
throughout Fort Madison.
Bikers participating in the Bike & Brew will collect their route maps during the Pancake
Breakfast, and no later than 10:30am, and begin their ride at 11:00am. Participants will follow
their route maps to local businesses throughout Fort Madison where they will complete fun
tasks and answer trivia questions. All teams will meet at the final destination on their routes
where prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
• BEST DRESSED TEAM
• MOST TEAM SPIRIT
• HIGHEST POINTS SCORED
Registration is now open. Team and Individual fees are as follows:
$50 for teams of up to 5 people, $15 per additional team member
$15 per person – (if registering solo please register in-person)
There is no limit to the number of members on a team. For teams registering over 15 members,
please register in-person.
Registration is available online or in-person. Team registration deadline is Sunday, March 6th.
Late and Day Of registration will continue through 10:30am on the day of the event for last
minute participants. Shirts will not be guaranteed to participants registered after March 6th.

Participation waivers will need to be signed by all participants. Waivers are available at the Fort
Madison Family YMCA now through March 18th and will be available the day of the event.
Registration is final, no refunds will be issued.
