Stacie Lynn Curtis, 50 of Keokuk, IA died Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.

She was born on November 28, 1971 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Charles Frederick and Linda McKay Curtis.  Stacie graduated from Keokuk High School with the class of 1991.

Stacie had been employed by Kentucky Fried Chicken in Keokuk and Casey’s in Hamilton, IL.

She enjoyed reading books, especially by her favorite authors, Rick Roman and J.K. Rowling, who wrote Harry Potter novels.  Stacie collected light houses and most of all, she loved her cats and dogs.

Stacie is survived by one daughter, Kelcee Curtis of Keokuk, her mother, Linda Curtis of Keokuk, two sisters, Melissa McKay and Tammie Kay (David) both of Keokuk and two brothers, Jeff McKay of Keokuk and Jason Curtis (Ricquel) of Burlington, IA.  She is also survived by her special friend and his family, Christopher Loring of Keokuk, Brittany Loring of Keokuk, Alisha Loring of Waterloo, IA and C.J. Loring and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dominyck Hubbard, her father, Charles Frederick Curtis, her step-father, Raymond Thomas Orr, and her life partner, Timothy Hubbard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA.  

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home with family meeting friends at that time.

Memorials may be made to the family for final expenses.
