Leland Edward Schlicher, 85, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Wednesday, March 09, 2022 at 3:11 AM at the SEIRMC in West Burlington.

He was born on August 12, 1936 in Donnellson to Christian and Dora Klinger Schlicher.  On October 13, 1961 he married Mildred Rockhold.  Leland was a factory worker for many years. He served in the US Army during the Cuban Crisis. Leland also loved to fish and was a commercial fisherman throughout the years and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Schlicher of Ft. Madison; two daughters, Diana Warner of Keosauqua and Gina (John) Fedler of Bedford Heights, Ohio; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and two brothers.

Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Hone & Crematory.  There will be no formal services held at this time and online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com.
