Germaine Ann Sammons, 92, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on March 9, 2022 at 9:45 AM at the SEIRMC in Ft. Madison.

She was born on December 23, 1929 in West Point to Theodore and Frances Fraise Naschert.  Germaine worked as a secretary for ADDS in Ft. Madison and retired after over thirty years of service.  She was of the Catholic faith.  Germaine loved to read, especially Agatha Christie mystery novels, going to yard sales and craft shows.  Her greatest love of all was her family; especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Mike (Judy) Sammons of Neosho, MO; four daughters, Judy (Randy) Watznauer of Ft. Madison, Sandy (James) Dingman of Coal Valley, IL, Sheila Gallerick of Ft. Madison and Barb (Donnie) Anderson of Bonaparte; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one sister, Doloris McCreedy of Duluth, MN.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Orville and one sister, Mary. 

Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  The family will host a celebration of life this summer.  Online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com.
