Becky Mueller, 84, of Springdale, Arkansas, formerly of Keokuk, died on March 4, 2022 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Springdale, Arkansas.
Becky was born on January 17, 1938 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Iner Corneilus and Helen (Lewis) Lantz.
She graduated from Keokuk Senior High School with the Class of 1956. When in high school she played on the first Keokuk women’s basketball team and also played baseball.
Becky was employed at Swifts in Keokuk until they closed and then had worked at Cargill for 33 years until her retirement in 2003.
She enjoyed fishing. Family was the most important aspect of her life, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children: Maria JoAnn Hagmeier of Springdale, AR, Mark Joseph Mueller of Keokuk, Marilyn “Jan” Janice Loeffler (Ron) of Springdale, AR, Melinda Joy Castro of Chesapeake, VA, Michael John Mueller of Keokuk, IA, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Ryan Mason, and one brother, Charles Lantz.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Pastor Summer Hakoun officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. with the family meeting with friends at that time.
