Church Basement Ladies hit Carthage's Legacy for two shows

Posted

CARTHAGE - The Church Basement Ladies 20th Anniversary Tour is coming to Carthage on April 1 with two shows at 2 and 7 p.m.

The Church Basement Ladies have long been known for their musical comedy shows and spot-on portrayal of small town women as they manage the food and the problems of a rural Minnesota church. The show blends humor, music and tender loving care.

With an elaborate set, the stage of The Legacy Theater will be turned into a fully-equipped church basement kitchen, ready for the next church dinner.

Riders In The Sky take the stage on April 30, at 7 p.m. This classic cowboy quartet has taken blended, close harmony and humor to over 6,100 appearances in all 50 states and 10 countries. “Woody’s Roundup,” performed in Toy Story 2, is featured in an album by the same name and earned Riders their first Grammy Award.

Tickets for these shows are available at The Legacy Theater box office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Stop in, call the office at 217-357-9479, or order on line at www.thelegacytheater.com.
