Geraldine E. St. Clair, 98, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Aspire Health Center in Donnellson, IA. She was born on August 20, 1923 in Fort Madison, IA to Henry & Dorothy Kottenstette Watznauer. She married James R. St. Clair on November 15, 1952 in Fort Madison, IA. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Parish and the Altar & Rosary Society. Growing up during the depression, she was a very hard-working person most of her life. Family & friends were very important to her.
Jerry is survived by: 2-sons: William (Daret) St. Clair of Lexington, KY & Joseph St. Clair of Fort Madison, IA; 1-sister: Dorothy Denmead of Los Angeles, CA and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, 1-son: Robert St. Clair, 1-brother: Jim Watznauer & 3-sisters: AnnaLee Reed, Ruthie Bergman & Jane Flach.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May, 27, 2022 at Ss. Mary & Joseph Church with Rev. Joseph Phung officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. just prior to the mass at Ss. Mary & Joseph Church. Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
