FORT MADISON - As the weather warms up, it's time to start spring cleaning and taking care of outdoor plants and lawns.  After months of warding off the cold indoors, take some time to throw open the windows, air out the house and watch your outdoor plants come back to life.

Having problems with pests in your garden?  Aphids eating your cucumbers?  Squirrels stealing your corn?  Rabbits munching on your lettuce?  Can they be stopped?  Yes, they can.  Join us at the library on April 7 at 5:30 for a program on “Controlling Garden Marauders”.  Mark Lyons, an experienced vegetable gardener, will teach you strategies and tactics to stop these invaders from destroying your garden and stealing the fruits and vegetables you worked so hard to grow.  Watch this live program with us at the library or ask to have a link to the Zoom session sent to you by filling out this form:  https://tinyurl.com/2p82u3np.
