Peggy J. Christy, 80, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11 AM at her home.
She was born on April 13, 1941 in Butler Co., Pennsylvania to Joseph and Peggy Crider Lawrence. On June 29, 1956 she married Thomas Christy in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Peggy was a homemaker and worked at DuPont in her early years. She enjoyed horses, cooking and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Christy of Ft. Madison; two sons, Patrick (Lori) Christy of Butler Co., Pennsylvania and Thomas Christy of Ft. Madison; two granddaughters; two great grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis of Georgia and one brother, Richard Horn of Wever. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Albert Horn.
