WEST POINT - Please help us congratulate Erin Dop on receiving the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation through The Institutes, a professional development organization for property-casualty insurance. The CPCU holders obtain the designation through proving their specialized knowledge of property-casualty insurance, risk management techniques and insurance underwriting principles. It is widely considered the most distinguished designation offered in the insurance industry.

Erin is a third-generation insurance professional for Fullenkamp Insurance Agency. She joins current president of the agency, Chris Fullenkamp, and former owners Carol Fullenkamp and the late Ron Fullenkamp in obtaining this esteemed designation. Erin began her career as a commercial underwriter after completing her college education at The University of Iowa in 2015.  At United Fire Group, Erin saw value in broadening her insurance knowledge and obtained two other designations during her time there. Upon her return to Lee County in 2018, she quickly became a licensed agent in multiple lines of insurance for the agency and obtained an additional insurance designation. The agency principals, Chris Fullenkamp and Jill Garmoe, encourage employees to continuously grow their knowledge of the insurance industry so that they will be better able to assist clients in making their coverage decisions.
