Todd A. Edwards, 58, of Donnellson, Iowa, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022, at his home in Donnellson.
He was born on June 16, 1963, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Don and Nancy (Brunow) Edwards. On April 7, 1990, he married Lisa Schlicher in Donnellson, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife: Lisa; two children: Chris (Tori) Edwards, Hayley (Jeremy) Marshall; one granddaughter on the way; parents: Don and Nancy Edwards; one brother: Scott (Tedra) Edwards; three nephews: Sheldon, Trevor, and Trey Edwards and one sister-in-law: Shelly Schlicher. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Judy Schlicher; father-in-law: Jerry Schlicher; and grandparents.
Todd graduated from Fort Madison High School in 1981. He worked in maintenance at the Iowa State Penitentiary. He was a member of the Tri-State Gun Club and was an organ donor. Todd enjoyed gardening, fishing and trap shooting. He was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, St. Louis Cardinals, and Chicago Bears.
Friends may call after 12:00 noon Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Schmitz Funeral Home in Donnellson, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2022, at Schmitz Funeral Home in Donnellson with Reverend Pam Unruh officiating.
Memorials have been established in his memory for the Donnellson Fire and Rescue and the Tri-State Gun Club.
