05/19/22 – 3:50 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1900 block of Avenue H.
05/19/22 – 4:17 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Joshua Adam Bowen, 42, of Wever, in the 1900 block of Avenue H, on a charge of 5th degree left less than $300.
05/19/22 – 8:50 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2600 block of Avenue I.
05/20/22 – 9:59 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 27th Street and Avenue L.
05/20/22 – 10:44 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2700 block of Avenue O.
05/20/22 – 11:04 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Rebecca Dawn Davis, 42, of Fort Madison, in the 1200 block of 38th Street, on a warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/20/22 – 3:34 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1900 block of Avenue M.
05/20/22 – 4:32 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 900 block of Avenue G.
05/20/22 – 7:20 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Ian Van Beveren, 30, of Fort Madison, in the 600 block of Avenue F, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/20/22 – 11:47 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Robert Harold Fleming IV, 38, of Fort Madison, in the 1000 block of Avenue F, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/21/22 – 12:16 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 600 block of Avenue F.
05/21/22 – 9:06 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Michael Douglas McCabe, 40, of Keokuk, at the intersection of 15th Street and Ridgewood Drive, on a charge of driving under suspension.
05/21/22 – 10:10 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Aaron Seville Shallcross, 31, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 38th Street and Avenue L, on a charge of driving while barred.
05/21/22 – 10:26 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism at the intersection of 24th Street and Avenue N.
05/22/22 – 1:41 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1200 block of 37th Street.
05/22/22 – 4:47 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a hit & run in the 200 block of 26th Street.
05/22/22 – 6:44 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1500 block of Avenue H.
05/22/22 – 10:15 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jeffrey George Sniegowski, Jr., 38, of Fort Madison, in the 3400 block of Avenue N, on 2 charges of possession of a controlled substance; and charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/23/22 – 4:24 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 100 block of Oak Drive.
05/23/22 – 10:36 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1600 block of Avenue M.
05/23/22 – 1:10 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 500 block of Avenue E.
05/23/22 – 3:31 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 500 block of 48th Street.
05/23/22 – 5:45 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary at the intersection of 24th Street and Avenue N.

Lee County Sheriff Report
05/19/22 – 8:47 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Christopher James Tallman, 57, of Keokuk, in the 2400 block of 340th Street, Keokuk, on charges of domestic abuse assault – 1st and assault w/bodily injury. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/19/22 – 11:12 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 mile marker 22. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Sandra May Hansen, 73, of Keokuk, was traveling south on Hwy. 61 when it struck a deer that had entered the roadway. No injuries or citations were reported. Hansen's vehicle sustained approximately $2,500 damage, but was able to be driven from the scene.
05/19/22 – 1:48 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 1700 block of Hwy. 2. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Tommee Michelle Pelky, 23, of Bonaparte, was stopped for construction and rolled into the vehicle in front of her driven by Anthony Joseph Garber, 47, of West Point, causing approximately $1,500 damage to Garber's vehicle. No injuries or citations were reported. Pelky's vehicle did not sustain damages and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
05/19/22 – 4:16 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 and Peach Orchard Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Gene Robert Myhre, 89, of Donnellson, was stopped at the stop sign in the median of Hwy. 61 and Peach Orchard Road and attempted to turn east when it was struck in the rear passenger side by a vehicle driven by Thomas Edward Older, 35, of Fort Madison. No injuries were reported at the scene. Both vehicles sustained damage, but were able to be driven from the scene. Myhre was cited for failure to yield right of way.
05/19/22 – 5:06 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Gary Michael Raleigh, 34, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for contempt – any other act. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/20/22 – 9:27 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Rhonda Lea Diewold, 61, of Burlington, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for 3rd degree harassment. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
05/21/22 – 7:57 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested David James Markell, 26, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a promise to appear.
05/21/22 – 4:19 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Primrose Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Dyson Chandler Gerveler, 18, of West Point, was traveling westbound on Primrose Road, when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and land on its top. No injuries or citations were issued.
05/21/22 – 7:28 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Tyson Shane Waetzig, 44, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
05/21/22 – 10:48 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jurgen Roland Paul Gunn Slattery, 42, of Keokuk, in the 3200 block of Old Quarry Road, Wever, on a charge of 1st offense OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a promise to appear.
05/22/22 – 3:50 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of 241st Street and 53rd Street, Fort Madison. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Dalton Ray Mabeus, 22, of Fort Madison, was attempting to enter a parking lot, missed the entrance, and crashed through a fence. No injuries were reported at the scene. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Mabeus was arrested for 1st offense OWI and taken to Lee County Jail.
05/22/22 – 4:04 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Dalton Ray Mabeus, 22, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 241st Street and 53rd Street, Fort Madison, on a charge of 1st offense OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a promise to appear.
05/22/22 – 10:56 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 at mile marker 22. According to the report, a motorcycle driven by Thomas Jeremy Hymes, 46, of Burlington, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 61 when he struck a deer that had entered the road. Hymes sustained injuries and was airlifted to U of I Hospital. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was released to a relative. No citations were reported.
05/23/22 – 11:47 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Christopher Cody Rhodes, 33, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for domestic assault choking/bodily injury and 2 warrants for pretrial release violation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/23/22 – 2:43 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Andrea Louise Blint, 38, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for possession of less than 5gm methamphetamine. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
