Free summer meals to continue in at FMCSD

Free summer lunch program starts June 2; no July 4th meals

FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Community School District & The Salvation Army are participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided, at a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times as follows:
FREE Meals for all children 1-18 June 2nd – August 5th, 2022
June 2nd – June 30th
Curbside Delivery (breakfast & lunch) on Mondays & Thursdays (multiple meals each day)
• Curbside Service – 11:00 to 11:30 - Fort Madison High School/ Swimming Pool Area (20th St & Ave C); Victory Park (23rd St & Ave G)
• Curbside Service – 11:30 to 12:00 - Salvation Army (1415 Ave M –South side)
• Curbside Service – 12:00 to 12:30 - Lincoln Elementary (14th St & Ave E); Richardson Elementary (34th St & Ave L)
July 1st – August 5th (no meals July 4th)
Sit & Eat Lunch – Monday through Friday
• 10:45 to 11:05 at Lincoln Elementary (13th & Ave E – playground)
• 11:15 to 11:35 at the High School (20th St & Ave C – swimming pool)
• 11:50 to 12:10 at Victory Park (23rd & Ave F – playground)
• 12:30 to 12:50 at Richardson Elementary (33rd & Ave L – playground)
• 1:00 to 1:20 at Salvation Army (1415 Ave M – South side)
Sit & Eat Lunch – Monday through Friday (no meals July 4-8)
• 11:00 to 11:30 at the Early Childhood Center (23rd & Ave J)
Sit & Eat Lunch – Monday through Thursday
• 11:00 to 11:30 at the YMCA (220 - 26th St)
