Celine D. Schroeder, 90, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 9:10 a.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at The Madison. She was born on October 30, 1931 in Fort Madison, IA to Theo & Pearl Brinkschroeder. She married Floyd Schroeder on May 6, 1950 in Fort Madison, IA. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2010. She was a homemaker and worked part time at JC Penney’s and Woolworth’s as a sales clerk. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.
Celine is survived by: 3-sons: Larry (Rosa) Schroeder of West Point, IA, Ronald (Jeannie) Schroeder of Wever, IA & Wayne (Lulu) Schroeder of Rock Springs, TX; 7-grandchildren, 6-great grandchildren and 1-sister: Myrtle Peitz of West Point, IA. She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, 1-brother & 1-sister.
Per her wishes, her body has been donated to the University of Iowa for scientific research. No services are planned.
