The West Burlington City Council met in regular session on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at West Burlington City Hall, 122 Broadway Street, West Burlington, Iowa, with Mayor Ron Teater presiding.
MEMBERS PRESENT:

Moved by Lees, seconded by Young, to approve the purchase of a 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe Squad Vehicle for the Police Department from Karl Chevrolet for $51,464.20. Motion carried by the following votes:
Ayes: Covert, Crowner, Johnson, Lees, and Young
Consider a quote from Karl Chevrolet to install the necessary equipment in the 2025 Tahoe Police Squad Vehicle
Moved by Young, seconded by Lees, to approve a quote from Karl Chevrolet to install the necessary equipment in the 2025 Tahoe Police Squad Vehicle for $21,972.10. Motion carried by the following votes:

CLOSED SESSION
Council held a Closed Session per Iowa Code Section 21.5.1 (g) to avoid disclosure of specific law enforcement matters, such as current or proposed investigations or inspection or auditing techniques or schedules, which, if disclosed, would enable law violators to avoid detection. and Section 21.5.1 (h) to avoid disclosure of specific law enforcement matters, such as allowable tolerances or criteria for the selection, prosecution, or settlement of cases, which, if disclosed, would facilitate disregard of requirements imposed by law.
