Amarillo to close out OSA summer series

MP trio to rev community up for September rodeo

FORT MADISON - The Old Settlers Association is approaching their third and final concert of 2024 on Sunday, August 18th at Old Settlers Park, Fort Madison.
Music will begin at 5 p.m. and food is available at family prices beginning at 4:30 p.m.  in Fahey Shelter. 
“Amarillo” will gear Fort Madison up for the Tri-State Rodeo coming in September and  returning to the park for the first time since Covid closed down music in 2020.
 "We are happy to have “Amarillo” back," said Sheryl Decker event chair. “They play a wide variety of country music hits as well as some hits of the 50s and 60s.”.  
They are from the Mt. Pleasant area and have been playing together for many years. The members of the band members harmonize so well.  They are Byron Perron on drums, Mark Williams bass guitar and vocals, and Patrick Wathen on guitar.
A public is welcome and the concert is free.
