Donna Kay (Reed) Horne, age 76, of Burlington, Iowa, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.
She was born October 9, 1945 in LaHarpe, Illinois, the daughter of Leslie and Geneva (Matthews) Reed.
Donna was a graduate of Dallas City High School. She was employed at General Electric in Burlington for over 30 years. Donna was an animal lover, and especially loved her little pride and joy, Babee, the Shih Tzu.
Survivors include three sons: Shane Fitzpatrick of Colorado Springs, CO, Casey (Ruby) Fitzpatrick of Kapolei, HI, Arron (Kyla) Horne of Burlington, IA, three grandchildren: Casey Fitzpatrick, Katelyn Waldow, and Cameron Fitzpatrick, and one great granddaughter: Raelyn Waldow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Dale Reed, and her faithful dog, Babee.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in the Harris Cemetery, near Dallas City, Illinois. No visitation is planned. Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Dallas City is assisting the family.
