Board chair endorses Amandus for Supervisor

Posted

Dear Editor

As Chairman of the Lee County Board of Supervisors I am asking the residents of Supervisor District 2 to please support Donna Amandus on Nov. 8.

Donna is a leader with a level head, and an unwavering ability to communicate with people with kindness and empathy. Those are incredibly important traits wihch will make her a successful board member in conquering the many serious issues we are facing here in Lee County.

Donna has proven herself to be a vital member of the Fort Madison City Council by going the extra mile to make quality of life improvements for the city and I am confident she will bring that experience and energy to the Board.

Her involvement in city tourism has gained her a wealth of knowledge and she continues exploring more opportunities that will showcase our many attributes to folks looking to visit and possibly relocate here.

Donna's experience, enthusiasm, and vision will be a welcome addition to the Board. Donna has already reached out to all members of the board - regardless of party affiliation - to gain from their expertise and knowledge, she is a team player. I ask you to vote for Donna to set our new board up for success!

Chairman Lee County Board of Supervisors
