DONNELLSON, IA — The Central Lee Community School District has named Tyler Bryant as the next Activities Director at Central Lee High School for the 2025-26 school year, pending approval by the school board.
A Central Lee High School graduate, Bryant has been an educator and coach in the district since 2016. He has taught middle school social studies for several years and coached multiple sports, including football, basketball, track, and baseball. He also currently leads the high school’s athletic conditioning (AC) program.
Bryant earned a bachelor’s degree from Central College and later completed a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Viterbo University.
“This school and community have always been home to me,” Bryant said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to step into this role and excited to keep working with our student-athletes, coaches, and staff to build on the strong foundation we have at Central Lee.”

A former standout high school and collegiate athlete, Bryant earned First Team All-American Rivers Conference Player honors and was invited to an NFL mini-combine.
“Tyler’s experience as both an athlete and a coach gives him a unique perspective on our athletics and activities programs,” said Central Lee High School Principal Nicole Herdrich. “He knows how to connect with students and push them to be their best, whether in the classroom, weight room, or on the field. We look forward to seeing him take on this new role.”
Bryant will continue serving as the Head Boys' Track Coach next school year and transition to a volunteer role with the football program to balance his responsibilities as Activities Director.
“Tyler is deeply invested in our students and their success,” said Central Lee Superintendent Dr. Andy Crozier. “His ability to motivate students and lead by example makes him a great fit for this position. I look forward to the lasting impact he will have on our programs and students as Activities Director.”
Pending board approval, Bryant will officially begin his new role on July 1, 2025.
