Dems hold ice cream social meet/greet Sunday in Montrose

MONTROSE - The Lee County Democratic Party will be holding their annual Ice Cream Social at the Ivor Fowler Community Center, 710 Main St., Montrose, this Sunday, 2:30 - 4:30 pm. Deidre DeJear, candidate for Governor; Christina Bohannan, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives; Joel Miller, candidate for Secretary of State; Rebecca Bowker, candidate for State House District 100; Dennis Cohoon, current representative for State House District 99; and Donna Amandus, candidate for Supervisor District Two will be guests and speaking to those attending. There will be ice cream and desserts available and free will donations will be accepted. An auction will be held for a pie as part of the event.
