Donnellson sets citywide cleanup for April 26

DONNELLSON - The citywide clean-up in the city of Donnellson will be held on Saturday, April 26. All items must be on the curbside by 7 a.m. that day.
Items accepted include:
• Household and patio furniture, carpeting (cut to manageable size), mattress, lawn decorations, small plastic swimming pools, sinks,
toilets, small amounts of dimensional lumber (cut to 5" lengths) windows, doors, fencing, wiring, small plumbing pipe, swing sets-cut down, bicycles, lawnmowers & tillers (gas & oil drained), toys, tools, bowling balls, type writers, shoes, clothes, humidifiers, cardboard, papers, magazines, etc.
•Newly accepted - automotive, truck, and tractor batteries.
Haulers reserve the right to refuse excessive amounts of cleanup items per household.
Items not accepted include:

•No refrigerators, freezers, stoves, air conditioners, microwaves, dehumidifiers, washers, dryers, water heaters, & dishwashers. No tires. (I.e. car, truck, trailer, tractor, or motorcycle.) No televisions, computer monitors, towers or keyboards, printers, VCR/DVD players, cell
phones, or NiCad batteries.) No concrete blocks or bricks, yard waste (i.e. grass clipping, leaf rakings, or tree/brush trimmings.) No anti-freeze, liquid paint, motor oil, gas, freon, herbicides, pesticides, ashes, and asbestos materials. - (i.e. floor tiles, shingles or insulation)
• No cars, trucks, boats, trailers, campers, etc., asphalt roof shingles, or large amounts of drywall.
• No Commercial contractors waste from building sites.
• No drywall Clean-up is for residents of the CITY only, not
businesses!
• No regular household garbage during Spring Cleanups
