FM lady golfers holding fundraiser Saturday

FORT MADISON – Teams are still being sought for this weekend’s first-ever Fort Madison Open.
The open is a mini-golf tournament that will benefit the Fort Madison girls golf team. Teams are comprised of two to four players who will be playing 18 holes of mini golf at holes scattered throughout Fort Madison. Golfers will start at Fort Madison High School and will finish at Baxter Sports Complex.
There will be prizes for best score, best dressed team, worst team score and best hole sponsor.
Golf begins at 10 a.m. and will wrap up at 2 p.m. at the sports complex.
Same day registration is accepted at the high school. Cost to enter the event is $100 per team. Entry forms can be emailed to FMHS girls coach Janelle Cresswell at janellekcresswell@gmail.com
