Fort Madison Police Report
12/20/23 – 9:55 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2800 block of Avenue O.
12/20/23 – 5:55 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of 19th Street.
12/21/23 – 7:55 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a personal injury accident in the 1800 block of Avenue H.
12/21/23 – 7:55 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a personal injury incident in the 1800 block of Avenue H.
12/21/23 – 8:19 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Melissa Lynn Holterhaus, 37, hometown not reported, at 18th Street and Avenue H, on a warrant for failure to appear – driving suspended, and charges of no valid driver's license, violation of financial liability – accident, and violate one-way traffic design. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/21/23 – 9:35 a.m. – Keokuk police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of South 9th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Rhonda Christine Driver, 59, of Keokuk, was traveling southbound in the 100 block of South 9th Street when a vehicle driven by Christopher Adam Barnes, 32, of Keokuk, turned right from the alley in the 900 block of South Main Street traveling southbound. Driver's vehicle struck Barnes' vehicle. No injuries were reported. Barnes was cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability – accident and failure to yield upong entering through highway. Both vehicles sustained minor damages and were driven from the scene.
12/21/23 – 12:49 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 600 block of 14th Street.
12/21/23 – 2:39 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Adrian Raul Garcia, 45, hometown not reported, in the 2800 block of Avenue K, on a warrant for probation violation and 2 additional unreported warrants. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/21/23 – 3:29 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1800 block of Avenue F.
Keokuk Police Report
12/20/23 – 10:04 a.m. – Keokuk police arrested a 14-year-old female juvenile, hometown not reported, in the 2200 block of Middle Road, on a charge of minor use tobacco/vapor products. Her disposition was not reported.
Lee County Sheriff Report
12/20/23 – Lee County sheriff deputies had no activity to report.
12/21/23 – Lee County sheriff office closed for the holidays. Reports will resume Tuesday, December 26.
