08/08/24 – 5:45 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Crystal Lynne Goodnight, 43, of Fort Madison in the 1300 block of Avenue E, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance – marijuana.
08/09/24 – 2:32 p.m. - Fort Madison police arrested Dalton James Michael Kay, 21, of Fort Madison in the 800 block of Avenue G, on charges of sexual abuse in the 3rd degree, sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of harboring a runaway. He was held in Lee County Jail.
08/09/24 – 4:09 p.m. - Fort Madison police arrested Derek Denton Provence, Jr., 35, of Fort Madison in the 1500 block of Avenue M, on charges of assault causing bodily injury, simple assault, 5th-degree criminal mischief, and interference with official acts. He was held in Lee County Jail.

07/23/24 – 4:26 p.m. – Keokuk police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 northbound. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Robert Christopher Thomas, 43, of Keokuk was northbound waiting to turn left onto Hilton Road. Another vehicle driven by Jondarian Lil Edward Hodges, 22, of Keokuk, didn’t see Thomas turning and struck the rear end. Both vehicles were driven away. Hodges was cited for failure to stop in a clear distance.

According to the report, a vehicle driven by Caleb Edward Lott, 21, of Burlington, lost control on 303rd Avenue and came to rest in a ditch after striking a fence. Lott was treated at the scene and denied medical transport. No citations were reported.
