08/22/22 – 7:40 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Seth Thomas Wright, 30, of Fort Madison, in the 100 block of Avenue C, on a South Lee County warrant for probation violation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/22/22 – 8:24 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Matthew Joseph Fink, 32, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 38th Street and Avenue O, on a charge of driving under suspension.
08/23/22 – 12:00 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested James Eugene Martindale, 57, of Donnellson, at the intersection 34th Street and Avenue L, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while barred, and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/23/22 – 1:43 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Matthew Wayne Sly, 29, of Fort Madison, in the 800 block of Avenue G, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/23/22 – 8:50 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Robert Daniel Wagner, 55, of Fort Madison, in the 1500 block of Avenue M, on a warrant for failure to appear and charges of interference with official acts, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, and driving under suspension. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

08/24/22 – 8:39 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Harry Allen Thuleen, Jr., 58, of Fort Madison, in the 2400 block of Avenue L, on 2 warrants for failure to appear and a charge of driving under suspension. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/25/22 – 8:38 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Tracy Leight Ann McDaniel, 36, of Wayland, in the 800 block of 24th Street, on a warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/25/22 – 9:43 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Donald Edward Clifford, 57, of Fort Madison, in the 2000 block of Avenue B, on a charge of disorderly conduct – threat. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

08/22/22 – 10:00 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Kenneth Lavern Soper, Jr., 43, of Keokuk, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a judgment hold warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/22/22 – 1:38 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Chad Andre Yager, 46, of Wever, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a charge of sex offender registry – other off. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/22/22 – 2:52 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Dyvon Michael Doyle Smith, 25, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of Main Street, Keokuk, on a warrant for failure to appear and charges of public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/23/22 – 5:46 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 1800 block of 303rd Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Lisa J. Algrim, 53, of Fort Madison, was traveling southbound in the 1800 block of 303rd Avenue when a deer ran into the roadway causing Algrim to swerve and enter the ditch. Algrim was transported to the hospital by EMS ground. Her vehicle was towed from the scene. No citations were reported.
08/23/22 – 11:15 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Joshua Isaac Daniels, 38, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's department, on a charge of simple assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/23/22 – 7:41 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 3500 block of Argyle Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Rhonda Lynn Miller-Helenthal, 56, of Hamilton, was traveling southbound on Argyle Road uphill while entering a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and continued to drive through the ditch, striking an embankment and coming to rest against a culvert under the roadway. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained severe damage. Miller-Helenthal was cited for failure to maintain control.
08/23/22 – 8:22 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Rhonda Lynn Helenthal, 56, of Keokuk, in the 3500 block of Argyle Road, Keokuk, on charges of interference with official acts and failure to maintain control. She was taken to Lee County Jail.

08/24/22 – 1:24 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jalen Keith Kutcher, 21, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct – fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/24/22 – 1:32 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Rick Keegan Tinder, 28, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of disorderly conduct – fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/25/22 – 2:05 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Brittney Dawn Helms, 30, of Mt. Pleasant, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for violation of a domestic no-contact order. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/25/22 – 7:14 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Zachary Ryan Sherman, 32, of West Burlington, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a court-ordered hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/26/22 – 8:54 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Zachary Ryan Sherman, 32, of West Burlington, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and drug trafficking - 5gm-100kg meth, and a charge of drug tax stamp violations. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/27/22 – 6:18 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested John Edward Glasgow, 37, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for unlawful school bus pass. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
08/27/22 – 8:13 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 61 N. 3561. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Blake Alan Lindsay, 16, of Montrose, was traveling northbound on Hwy. 61 N. when the vehicle's front wheel and tire detached from the vehicle and rolled across the median into southbound traffic and striking a vehicle driven by Austin Dean Schuelka, 33, of Fort Madison. No injuries or citations were reported. Schuelka's vehicle sustained minor damages, but was able to be driven from the scene. Lindsay's vehicle was driven from the scene.
08/28/22 – 2:38 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Randy Anthony Stice, 44, listed as homeless from Keokuk, in the 100 block of South 12th Street, Keokuk, on a warrant for pretrial release violation. He was taken to Lee County Jail
08/28/22 – 5:40 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jonathan Michael Jones, 47, of West Point, at the sheriff's office, on warrants for voluntary absence from custody and a judgment hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a court order release.
