12/08/21 – 10:48 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Jayme Thomesa Jenkins, 35, of Fort Madison, in the 4600 block of Avenue J, on a charge of 1st offense trespassing.
12/08/21 – 1:02 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Phoenix David Cote, 19, of Fort Madison, in the 800 block of Avenue E, on a charge of 3rd degree harassment.

12/10/21 – 7:05 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Shelly Lynn Stacy, 42, of Fort Madison, in the 700 block of Avenue H, on a charge of city: trespassing and a warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/11/21 – 8:56 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Jeremy Loren Schrader, 35, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 20th Street and Avenue H, on a charge of driving under suspension.
12/11/21 – 10:21 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Tyler Scott Hedger, 29, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 29th Street and Avenue J, on a charge of driving under suspension.

12/11/21 – 4:32 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Tricia Theresa Friant, 38, of Fort Madison, in the 800 block of Avenue G, on a warrant for violation of a no-contact order. She was taken to Lee County Jail.

12/12/21 – 3:23 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Adam Lee Jacobs, 31, of Fort Madison, in the 400 block of Avenue E, on a charge of disorderly conduct - fighting/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/12/21 – 3:35 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Adam Lee Cottrell, 25, of Fort Madison, in the 400 block of Avenue E, on a charge of disorderly conduct - fighting/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/12/21 – 3:51 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 900 block of Avenue G.
12/13/21 – 4:37 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 400 block of 6th Street.

Lee County Sheriff report
12/08/21 – 11:43 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 115th Street and 280th Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Logan Bradley Sanders, 20, of West Point, was traveling southbound on 280th Avenue when he came to the intersection at 115th Street and attempted to make a u-turn. Sanders did not see the vehicle driven by Barbara Gail Cecil, 72, of Bonaparte, traveling southbound on 280th Avenue, and pulled onto 280th Avenue and struck Cecil's vehicle passenger side. Both vehicles sustained approximately $1500 damage and had to be towed from the scene. Sanders admitted to fault, but no citations or injuries were reported.
12/08/21 – 5:27 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Erika Lynn Lovell, 24, of Keokuk, in the 3600 block of 235th Street, on a charge of domestic abuse assault. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/08/21 – 5:41 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the 2600 block of Hwy. 2. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Jack Daryl Woodley, 82, of Donnellson, was turning west on Hwy. 2 from The Ridgewood parking lot and did not see a vehicle driven by Chelsea Anne Barnes, 31, of Donnellson, traveling westbound on Hwy. 2. Woodley's vehicle pulled onto Hwy. 2, striking the passenger side door of Barnes' vehicle with its front bumper. Both vehicles sustained approximately $1500 in damage and had to be towed from the scene. Woodley was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way. No injuries were reported.
12/08/21 – 6:30 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Mt. Pleasant, at the Juvenile Detention Center, on a charge of assaulting a law officer/others without injuries. He was held for Juvenile Court.
12/09/21 – 12:53 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Mt. Pleasant, at the Juvenile Detention Center, on a charge of probation violation. He was held at the Juvenile Detention Center for court.
12/09/21 – 5:31 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 1300 block of Main Street in Keokuk. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Martha Lee Axton, 63, of Carthage, Ill., was observed turning into the Site Food Mart parking lot, but turned too short and struck a city road sign. Her vehicle sustained approximately $1500 in damage, but was able to be driven from the scene. No injuries or citations were reported.
12/10/21 – 4:59 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested James Richard Chaney, 34, of Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/10/21 – 10:44 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Joel Dylan Washburn, 46, of Sunnyville, CA, in the 100 block of 7th Street, Keokuk, on warrants for domestic abuse assault - 1st, 3 warrants for failure to appear/contempt of court, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and 1st degree harassment. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/10/21 – 7:41 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 1400 block of 155th Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle legally parked in a parking lot was struck in the driver's side front door and fender. No injuries or citations were reported.
12/10/21 – 8:23 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2500 block of 255th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Jesse James Donaldson, 43, of Fort Madison, was traveling east on 255th Street when he fell asleep. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a driveway, and went airborne and landing in a ditch. The driver was checked by Lee County EMS and released. The vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries or citations were issued.
12/11/21 – 12:00 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2300 block of 100th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Sadu Jean Negus, of Buffalo, Ia., was traveling westbound on 100th Street, traversed a curve to the left on a downhill slope and lost control of the vehicle. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle entered the west ditch and rolled onto its top, coming to a stop. The driver refused medical attention and no citations were issued.
12/11/21 – 10:35 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Autum Michel Davis, 31, of Argyle, in the 3300 block of Main Street, Keokuk, on a warrant for accessory after the fact. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/12/21 – 12:42 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jeremy Wane Cochenour, 47, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for a judgment hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/12/21 – 9:06 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 1900 block of West Point Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Richard Marion Nelson, 41, of West Point, was traveling north on West Point Road when a truck approached his vehicle in the same lane of traffic going at a high rate of speed. The driver moved into oncoming traffic to avoid the truck, the truck then moved into the oncoming lane, and Nelson swerved to the right and struck the concrete side wall of the bridge. The driver of the truck did not stop and fled the scene. Nelson received minor injuries, but declined medical attention. No other injuries or citations were reported.
12/12/21 – 5:50 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Aaron Robert Simpson, 39, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for a judgment hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/13/21 – Lee County sheriff deputies reported 6 deer accidents without injuries over the weekend.

Hancock County Sheriff report
12/06/21 – Paula M Buckert, age 64, of Hamilton, IL was arrested and charged with Violation of Order of Protection. Buckert was given a future court date and released on hew own recognizance.
12/07/21 –Douglas W Washburn, age 40, of Davenport, IA was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him Failure to Appear/ Failure to Pay on original charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Forgery, Driving While License Suspended, and No Valid Driver's License. Washburn was also arrested for a second Hancock County Warrant for Petition to Revoke or Modify Sentence for Original charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Washburn was released after sentenced served.
12/07/21 – Taylor B Palmer, age 38, of Burnside, IL was arrested and charged with Driving While License Revoked. Palmer was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
12/09/21 – Joshua I Daniels, age 37, of Fort Madison, IA was arrested on a McDonough County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear/ Failure to Pay on original charges of Driving Under the Influence. Daniels was released to McDonough County Authorities.
12/09/21 – Emily A Cox, age 26 , of Fort Madison, IA was arrested and charged with Drug Violation. Cox remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting her next court appearance.
12/10/21 – Holly R Boyles, age 18, of Carthage, IL was given a Notice to Appear at a future court date for charges of Speeding.
12/11/21 – Nohora J Eland, age 58, of Dallas City, IL was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct. Eland was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
12/12/21 – Angela M McConnell, age 44, of Biggsville, IL was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. McConnell was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
