10/13/22 – 12:37 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 900 block of Avenue H.
10/13/22 – 2:26 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 4800 block of Avenue O.
10/13/22 – 3:10 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2400 block of Henry Ladyn Drive.
10/13/22 – 3:32 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2200 block of Avenue L.

10/15/22 – 6:23 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1700 block of Avenue H.
10/16/22 – 12:07 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2400 block of Avenue N.
10/16/22 – 10:48 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2100 block of Avenue A.
10/16/22 – 5:40 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1400 block of Avenue H.
10/16/22 – 9:02 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Hank William McCann, Jr., 28, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 18th Street and Avenue H, on a Missouri warrant for probation violation and charges of operating motor vehicle without owner's consent, eluding – speed 25 miles over limit, and driving under suspension. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff Report
10/10/22 – 1:38 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Kalief Kasean Farrell, 37, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for controlled substance schedule IV/V. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
10/11/22 – 3:45 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested  Bodin Edward Lasswell, 21, of New London, at the intersection of Hwy. 16 and 265th Avenue, Denmark, on a charge of 1st offense OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a promise to appear.
10/12/22 – Lee County sheriff deputies had no activity to report.
10/13/22 – Lee County sheriff deputies had no activity to report.
10/14/22 – 8:45 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwys. 16 and 61. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Mason James Christe, 22, of New London, was traveling east on Hwy. 16 near Hwy. 61 when the brakes on Christe's vehicle went out and he couldn't slow the vehicle. Christe tried to make a right turn onto Hwy. 61 and the vehicle tipped over landing on a vehicle driven by Rachel Elizabeth Stockwell, 30, of Fort Madison. Both vehicles came to a stop in the median. Both drivers were transported by ambulance to area hospitals. Both vehicles sustained severe damages and had to be towed from the scene. Christe was cited for defective brakes and failure to maintain control.
10/14/22 – 9:01 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Robert Carl Rook, 31, of Keokuk, in the 2600 block of Hwy. 218, Donnellson, on a charge of driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a promise to appear.
10/14/22 – 3:01 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Chad Wallace Larson, 47, of Keokuk, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on warrants for voluntary absence from custody and a judgment hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on his own recognizance.
10/14/22 – 11:23 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Dakota Storm Reed, 27, of Kahoka, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
10/15/22 – 2:10 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Gerhard Andrew Luebbers, 54, of Farmington, at the sheriff's office, on a judgment hold warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail and later released after time served.
10/16/22 – 11:10 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested James Brett Stinson, 33, of Keokuk, in the 2400 block of Johnson Street Road, Keokuk, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/17/22 – 1:29 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested James Richard Chaney, 35, of Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for contempt – failure to pay fine/cost. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
