07/25/22 – 7:06 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 4800 block of Avenue O.
07/25/22 – 11:01 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 3100 block of Avenue M.
07/25/22 – 10:57 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Samantha Gayle Brecount, 36, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 30th Street and Avenue H, on a charge of driving under suspension.
07/26/22 – 5:00 a.m. – Fort Madison police cited Levi Clay Martin, 24, of Burlington, in the 1700 block of Avenue E, on a charge of driving while license suspended.
07/26/22 – 4:31 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Bette Lou Royer, 55, of Fort Madison, in the 4500 block of Avenue L, on a charge of driving under suspension.
07/27/22 – 2:30 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Jalen Keith Kutcher, 21, of Fort Madison, in the 1100 block of Avenue F, on charges of assault w/bodily injury and interference with official acts. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/27/22 – 2:31 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested William Jesse Ostrander, 38, of Fort Madison, in the 2500 block of Avenue L, on a charge of public intoxication. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/27/22 – 3:34 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 900 block of Avenue G.
07/27/22 – 4:29 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 300 block of 20th Street.
07/27/22 – 10:28 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Emmanuel Cedar Ceballos, 19, of Fort Madison, in the 1600 block of Avenue E, on a charge of driving under suspension.
07/28/22 – 11:25 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Terra Dawn McPheter, 38, of Fort Madison, at the intersection of 36th Street and Avenue L, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license denied/revoked-OWI, and possession of a controlled substance.

Lee County Sheriff Report
07/25/22 – 2:50 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jessica Ann Harwood, 39, of Keokuk, in the 2500 block of Hwy. 61, Fort Madison, on charges of driving while barred and operation without registration. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a promise to appear.
07/25/22 – 7:33 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Dalton Christopher Hoit, 23, of Solon, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of simple assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/26/22 – 12:47 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Brian Lee Drury, 58, of Miles, at the sheriff's office on a temporary hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/26/22 – 1:47 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Colin Jess Brooks, 28, of Danville, at the sheriff's office, on a court-ordered hold warrant. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/26/22 – 5:33 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Justin Daniel Spurgeon, 33, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for violation of probation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/26/22 – 5:45 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Joshua Isaac Daniels, 38, of Fort Madison, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on warrants for 1st degree theft greater than $10,000, felon in control of a firearm, and failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
07/26/22 – 6:45 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Erika Nicole Church, 26, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for assault causing serious injury. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on bond.
07/27/22 – 4:09 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy. 16 and 280th Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Nancy Ellen Sandbothe, 65, of Fort Madison, was traveling eastbound by 280th Avenue when a vehicle driven by Eric Wayne Weiler, 21, of Kirksville, turned onto Hwy. 16 and struck Sandbothe's vehicle in the driver's side door. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained minor damages. Weiler was cited for failure to yield upon left turn.
07/28/22 – 2:58 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Laura Kathleen Knox, 63, of Keokuk, at the North Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for voluntary absence from custody and a judgment hold. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
