10/21/22 – 1:28 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 800 block of Avenue E.
10/22/22 – 9:26 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
10/22/22 – 2:04 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2700 block of Avenue H.
10/22/22 – 9:22 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2700 block of Avenue J.
10/23/22 – 1:11 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1700 block of Avenue L.

10/24/22 – 12:56 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Andrea Jean Hoenig, 38, of Fort Madison, in the 2200 block of Avenue L, on charges of interference with official acts, possession of drug paraphernalia, mfr/del/pwi meth/amphetamine, drug tax stamp violations, and intent to manuf/deliver. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/24/22 – 1:28 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Charles Dean Meyer, 50, of Fort Madison, in the 1200 block of 37th Street, on a charge of invasion of privacy. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/24/22 – 7:09 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 2600 block of Avenue L.
10/25/22 – 4:28 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Abagayl Jean Kirchner, 19, of Fort Madison, in the 3900 block of Bluff Road, on a charge of domestic assault - bodily injury. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/25/22 – 4:28 a.m. – Fort Madison police arrested William Austin Kemp, 22, of Fort Madison, in the 3900 block of Bluff Road, on a charge of domestic assault - bodily injury. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff Report
10/21/22 – 10:05 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jacob John Montgomery, 35, of Wever, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for driving while barred, and charges of speeding, eluding, and driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/21/22 – 1:47 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Logan Gene Meyers, 24, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/21/22 – 11:48 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident at Hwy. 61 and 354th Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Dalton Tanner Vaughan, 22, of Keokuk, was traveling southbound on 354th Avenue when it left the roadway and rolled. No injuries were reported and the vehicle sustained disabling damages. Vaughan was arrested by a State Trooper.
10/22/22 – 12:00 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Kaitlyn Nicole Mitchell, 26, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for 1st degree attempted burglary. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/22/22 – 1:22 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 1900 block of Hwy. 2. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Bonnilyn Pepple Neyens, 77, of Fort Madison, was traveling westbound on Hwy. 2 when her vehicle was struck with ears of corn, breaking her windshield. No injuries or citations were reported.
10/23/22 – 6:15 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Larry Leon Sartorius, 60, of Burlington, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear - citation. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/24/22 – 6:43 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident at 228th Avenue and Hwy. 16. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Robert Edwin Martin, 34, of Burlington, was traveling eastbound on Hwy. 16 approaching 228th Avenue when a deer entered the roadway. Attempting to avoid the collision, the vehicle entered the ditch to the right, became airborne, rolled, and came to rest on its wheels. The driver complained of injuries and was transported by Lee County Ambulance. The vehicle sustained severe damages. No citations were issued.
10/24/22 – 8:17 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Jennifer Cheyanne Sangster, 32, of Keokuk, in the 100 block of Hawkeye Village, Keokuk, on a warrant for 1st degree harassment. She was taken to Lee County Jail and later released on a pre-trial release.
10/24/22 – 4:57 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Aaron Michael Ball, 34, of Keokuk, in the 400 block of Hwy. 61, Fort Madison, on a warrant for contempt - failure to pay fine/cost and charges of eluding - injury, OWI, drug and 1st offense OWI. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/24/22 – 9:25 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Anthony Deon Gregory, 47, of Keokuk, at the South Lee County Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/25/22 – 12:04 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested David James Markell, 26, of Keokuk, in the 3600 block of Iowa Road, Keokuk, on charges of 3rd degree burglary - vehicle 1st offense and 2nd degree criminal mischief $1,500-$10,000. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
