Fort Madison Police Report
08/09/22 – 6:55 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Hayley Rayes-Barrera, 37, of Fort Madison, in the 800 block of 17th Street, on a Henry County warrant for driving under suspension. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
08/09/22 – 9:02 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 100 block of Alta Drive.
08/09/22 – 11:16 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Charles Dale Sebastian, 59, of Fort Madison, in the 800 block of Riverview Park, on charges of assault w/bodily injury and 1st degree domestic abuse assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Lee County Sheriff Report
08/09/22 – 6:57 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident on 175th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Shawn Gabriel Thompson, 50, of Wever, was traveling westbound on 175th Street, pulling away from a stop sign at the intersection of 175th Street and Hwy. 61, when the side of the vehicle was struck by a pedestrian on a bicycle. The bicyclist was transported to the Fort Madison hospital by Thompson with unknown injuries. No other injuries, damage, or citations were reported.
08/09/22 – 5:46 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies cited and released Kody Michael Saar, 28, of Hamilton, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of 5th degree criminal mischief.
08/10/22 – 7:38 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Kody Michael Saar, 28, of Hamilton, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of being a fugitive from justice. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
