Sharon Kaye Wood, 72, of Niota, IL passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 1:15 PM at The Madison.
She was born on September 9, 1949 in Ft. Madison to Leo and Doris Six Boeddeker. On December 2, 1967 she married Michael Wood in Ft. Madison.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Wood of Niota; one daughter, Tami (Jamie) Kaminski of Dallas City, IL; three grandchildren, Kayla (Ross) Hutson, Katie Kaminski and Cooper Kaminski and an aunt, Sue Cooper of Ft. Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John.
The funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Ss. Peter & Paul Church in Nauvoo with Monsignor Paul Showalter officiating. Burial will follow in Appanoose Cemetery. King-Lynk Funeral Home is assisting the family.
