Virginia R. Ruble, 102, of Macomb and formerly of Nauvoo, went home to Jesus on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 8:00 PM at Wesley Village in Macomb.

She was born on June 20, 1920 in McCredie Audrain County Missouri to Joseph Wren and Grace Truman Neyman Iman.  On September 22, 1940 she married Charles Harold Ruble and he passed away on July 14, 2003.  Virginia was a homemaker.  She enjoyed drawing and cooking.  Virginia crocheted hundreds of doilies and gave them away to anyone she could.

Survivors include two daughters, Connie Hodson of Donnellson, IA and Mary (Aaron)Sutton of Colchester, IL; one son, Raymond (Sue) Ruble of Springfield, MO; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; seventeen great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild; one sister, Polly Crawford of Hatton, MO and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Charles “Bud” Ruble and Jack Ruble; five brothers and two sisters.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11 AM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Chaplain Zack Hunter officiating.  The family will meet with friends from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
