Kay Lynn Hermes, 60, of Wever, IA, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at her home. She was born on December 4, 1963 in Keokuk, IA to John & Gloria Merschbrock Beaty and was raised by her grandparents, Ellory & Edwinna Beaty. She married John Johnson and they later divorced. She then married Roger Hermes and they later divorced. She was a Community Support Worker for Optimae Life Services for many years and enjoyed reading and spending time with her dog, Rocky.
Kay is survived by: 2-daughters: Renee Lynch of Fort Madison, IA & Nicole (Samuel) Myers of St. Louis, MO; 7-grandchildren: Dylan Johnson, Kylie Lynch, Brody Johnson, Hayden Lynch, Mikayla Lynch, Chaizly Lynch & Maia Myers and 5-siblings: Joyce Beaty, Scott Beaty, Rick Beaty, Chad Beaty & Artis Beaty. She was preceded in death by: her parents, grandparents, 1-son: John Allen Johnson, 1-brother: John Owen Beaty & 1-sister: Shelly Beaty.
