Kaye E. Smith, 85, of Denmark, IA, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at her home.  She was born on April 27, 1939 in Fort Madison, IA to Raymond & Nellie Smalley Smith and was raised by her grandparents, Stewart & Helen Smalley.  She worked at Thompson’s Diner, Troy Laundry and she retired from the Sheaffer Pen Company.  She was a member of the Denmark Congregational United Church of Christ and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, taking pictures and playing games with her family.

Kaye is survived by: 3-nieces: Barbara (David) Ball of Donnellson, IA, Jennifer (Shane) Horn of West Burlington, IA & Katie Allen; 3-nephews: Tony (Katrina) Smith of Denmark, IA, Paul (Tina Carson) Smith of Burlington, IA & Tom (Cindy) Smith of Denmark, IA; several great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by: her parents, 3-brothers: Mickey, Raymond & Bobby and 1-nephew: Sean Allen.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  A memorial service will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. with Rev.
