Bonnie Jene Gunn Hoenig, 93, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 6:20 AM at The Madison.
She was born on December 30, 1929 in Ft. Madison to Charles and Ruth Johnson Gunn. On October 20, 1956 she married Donald Hoenig in Ft. Madison and he passed away on December 19, 2002. Bonnie was a 1948 graduate of Ft. Madison High School and a proud member of the Daughters of American Revolution. She was a resident of the Kensington for numerous years and loved living there and spending time with her friends and the staff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers. Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory and there will be a private graveside service. Online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com
