The Fort Madison Kiwanis Club is hosting a Halloween House Decorating contest fundraiser where residents of Fort Madison can enter to win a prize for having the best decorated house!  Fort Madison Kiwanis Club members will judge participants based on curb appeal, anything that can be seen from the street or sidewalk.  The winner will receive a yard sign and $50.

Enter your house in the contest for $10, fill out the registration form found at tinyurl.com/fmhauntedhousecontest to register.  The Registration form includes instructions for submitting the registration fee which must be received by Saturday, October 15.  Houses will be judged between Monday, October 17 and Saturday, October 22.  Winners will be notified after Sunday, October 23.  Judging will be done from outside the residence only, decorations need to be visible from the street and sidewalk.

Proceeds will help support the Fort Madison Kiwanis Club in their community efforts.  The Fort Madison Kiwanis club provides college scholarships to seniors at Fort Madison and Holy Trinity High Schools.  Recently Fort Madison Kiwanians have been focusing efforts on maintaining and improving Ivanhoe Park including helping with landscaping, cleaning up regularly during the spring and summer and adding a 9-hole disc golf course.
