Debra “Debbie” Sue Clark, 67, of Keokuk, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Debbie was born on August 15, 1957, in Keokuk, the daughter of Irvin Bell and Edda (Jump) Bell Bloyd. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1974, and went on to work at Daydant and Sons, Cameo Photography, and later opened an in-home daycare, which she operated for many years. On September 7, 1984, she was united in marriage to Mark Clark in Killeen, Texas. He survives. Debbie’s life revolved around her children and grandchildren, and she will always be remembered for her loving, caring and joyful spirit.
Debbie is survived by her husband Mark Clark of Keokuk; her father Irvin Bell of Hamilton, Illinois; four children: Jason (Tiffany) Baxter of Hamilton, Ashley Bauswell-Samuels of Keokuk, Thomas (Chrissy Elliott) Clark of Keokuk, and Kayla Clark of Keokuk; eleven grandchildren: Alex, Bryce, Camden, Jazlynn, Jada, Justice, Hunter, Austin, Conner, Rory and Karson; six great-grandchildren: Brody, Hazel Grace, Brantley, Memphis, Mila and Remi; two sisters: Patty (Buddy Gail) Young of Hamilton and Jennifer (Kevin) Lee of Washington, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Debbie is preceded in death by her mother Edda and her brother Randy Bell.
No services will be held at this time, burial at a later date will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
