Riechman named vice chair of Veteran's Affairs committee



DES MOINES – Senator-elect Jeff Reichman (R-Montrose) has been named as vice chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee for the 89thGeneral Assembly.
This committee focuses on issues pertaining to veterans and currently serving military personnel, such as the IowaNational Guard, county veterans service officers, and the Iowa Veterans Home.
“As a veteran, I am honored to announce that I have been appointed to serve as the Vice Chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee,” said Senator-elect Reichman. “I look forward to serving in this capacity and brining my expertise to the table.”
Reichman was elected to his first term as Iowa's 42nd District Senator in November, defeating incumbent Rich Taylor of Mt. Pleasant
