Madison rebrands to Birkwood Village

Construction on new facility at former The Madison in full swing

Posted

FORT MADISON - The Madison – a senior care facility– announced they have rebranded to Birkwood Village of Fort Madison.
This change comes as part of an expansion to the campus in the fall of 2023 adding assisted living and assisted living memory support.

In addition, the campus will enhance their current skilled rehabilitation,
therapy services, and specialized ventilator care. The new assisted living will consist of 24 private senior apartments and 12 memory support suites. An independent living and assisted living lifestyle package will be available. Memory support will be an all-inclusive rate. The Fort Madison campus will have a full continuum of service options to better serve the community.

“We are excited to be expanding our Fort Madison campus and increasing the level of service we are able to provide the community,” said owner, Mark Holtkamp.

In January of 2022, the Iowa-based ownership group opened Birkwood Village of Tama/Toledo. The rebranding of The Madison is intended to inspire a focus on Friendships, Wellness, and Peace of Mind to residents and their families, as well as the overall community. Quality care and a focus on community and family will continue to be an important part of what we do.
