KEOKUK – Fort Madison’s Brady Wade carded a 43 to lead the Bloodhounds in Southeast Conference boys' golf action Monday at the Elks Fairview in Keokuk.
Wade birdied two of the last three holes to edge Cade Denning, who finished with a 45. Other scoring golfers for the Hounds were Cole Quittem with a 46 and Colton Bower who carded a 47 to give the Hounds a 181 team score tying them with Fairfield for third overall.
Washington ran away with the event, shooting a slim 145 led by medalist Roman Roth’s 34 and Rajan Roth’s 35.
Mt. Pleasant finished 2nd with a 171. Keokuk shot a 197 led by Jayden Thomas’ 41.
