Absentee ballots now available from Lee County Auditor

LEE COUNTY - Absentee voting ballots for the Nov. 5 general election can be requested from the Auditor’s office located at 933 Avenue H, Fort Madison, starting now until October 20, 2025, or by contacting the Auditor’s office at 319-372-3705, option 3. 
Absentee voters in Lee County will be able to submit their completed absentee ballots to the Auditor’s office or by using the single, secure drop box located at the Auditor’s office at the above address. 
Absentee voting will begin October 15, 2025 until Monday November 3, 2025, at the Auditor’s office in Fort Madison.  This will be the only location open for absentee voting unless a satellite voting location is requested to be utilized during the upcoming City/School Election, making it easier for residents of the Lee County region to cast their ballots. 
These satellite locations will provide voters with a convenient, accessible option to vote early and ensure their voices are heard in the upcoming election.
