ABSENTEE VOTING IN THE AUDITOR’S OFFICE: Absentee ballots will be available on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Lee County Auditor’s Office, 933 Avenue H, Fort Madison, IA and may be voted in the office until 4:30 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2025.
Regular Hours at Fort Madison Lee County Auditor’s Office will be: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
EXTENDED HOURS: The Lee County Auditor’s Office ONLY will be open:
Monday, October 20, 2025, from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Friday, October 31, 2025, from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Fort Madison (Lee County Auditor’s) ONLY:
Saturday November 1, 2025, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

ABSENTEE VOTING IN THE SOUTH LEE COUNTY COURTHOUSE: Absentee ballots will be available on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the South Lee County Courthouse, 25 N. 7th Street, Keokuk, IA and may be voted in the office until 4:30 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2025.
Regular Hours at South Lee County Courthouse will be: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. closed for lunch from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS BY MAIL: A ballot may be mailed to you upon your request. Requests can be in writing (you must include your name, address, date of birth, driver’s license or Voter ID pin number, date of election or type of election, signature and date of signature) or on an official absentee ballot request form. Requests must be received by the auditor’s office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20th, 2025. Official forms may be obtained by contacting the auditor’s office 319-372-3705 option 3 or by visiting our website www.leecountyiowa.gov
