Posted
Kelsea Lynn Busard, 28 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa passed Tuesday, March 10, 2026.   She was born October 30, 1997 in Fort Myers, Florida, daughter of Jennifer Busard.
She was a 2016 graduate of Burlington High School.  She started her journey in health care, but found her passion in helping people by selling life insurance. She saw the need to educate others on the importance of preparing for end of life.  She earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s and was just short of her PhD in Psychology. She loved shopping, kayaking, fast cars, spending time outdoors and animals, especially her dog Luna. She was not afraid to show her spirit, when she attended Green Bay Packer games.  Kelsea was bold, lived life loud and was always the first to stand up for the underdog.  She was excited in her new journey with Christ, and was attending at the Harmony Bible Church, Fort Madison.
She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Busard (Jeffrey Moses and his son Colton Moses), of Burlington, Iowa; grandmother, Janie Busard, of West Point, Iowa; two aunts: Stacey (Jason) Sink and Kara (Damon) Dalton and three cousins: Dakota, Kaylee and Kortnee.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Steve Busard and her great grandparents, Alberta and T.C. Wooldridge.
Family will greet friends from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm Friday, March 20, 2026 at Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison, with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 pm at Barr Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Matt Mitchell.  A memorial is being considered for a Riverview park memorial bench, please make checks out to Jennifer Busard.  Barr Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Kelsea Busard family and an online guest book may be found at www.barrmemorialchapel.com.
