Blind will be a positive force for FM - Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor;

I am writing this letter in support of Melinda Blind's candidacy for Mayor of Fort Madison, Iowa.
I have known Melinda since she was a high school office education student at the former Fort Madison Bank and Trust and have had the privilege to work with her and watch her career progress. Melinda was born and raised in Fort Madison and after she married her husband, Doug, they chose to make Fort Madison their home and raise their three children here. She truly understands and cares about our community.
Melinda recently retired as Fort Madison City Clerk after a twenty­-nine year career serving our city. Melinda is the only candidate that has first hand experience of the inner workings of our city. Her first-hand knowledge and experience will definitely enhance her ability to lead our city in a productive harmonious manner. Melinda does not have any hidden agendas, she genuinely cares about Fort Madison. She will lead our city government honestly and will diligently work as an experienced positive force. Please join me on November 4, 2025 in casting your vote for Melinda Blind for Mayor of Fort Madison.
