WEST POINT, Iowa — Holy Trinity Catholic Elementary has selected Veteran Adella Boeding as this year’s Spotlight Veteran for its annual Veterans Day Program on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Boeding recently visited the school’s fifth-grade class to share stories from her time serving in the U.S. military. Her visit gave students a firsthand look at the dedication and sacrifice shown by America’s service members.
“All of us at Holy Trinity look forward to this event each year,” said Elementary Principal Elizabeth Scheetz. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for our students to recognize the gift of freedom and the sacrifices made by those who serve to protect it. The program truly inspires a sense of gratitude and patriotism among our young people.”
