FORT MADISON, Iowa — The Fort Madison Athletic Booster Club is teaming up with University of Iowa Athletics to offer community members a chance to enjoy premium seating at an Iowa Men’s Basketball game.
Fans are invited to cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes as they face the University of Massachusetts Lowell River Hawks on Monday, December 29, with tip-off at 4:00 p.m. at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.
Tickets go on sale Monday, November 17. They can be purchased at the Fort Madison High School athletics office or through a link or QR code available on the Fort Madison Booster Club and Fort Madison Chamber of Commerce Facebook pages. Several local businesses have already committed to supporting this event, but more sponsors are needed to help provide a free Fort Madison Day t-shirt with every ticket purchase.
“We were excited when the Chamber reached out to us about working with them on this fundraiser, " said Christina Tripp, Booster Club Secretary. “We’re passionate about providing affordable fun for our school’s athletic fans while raising money to help support the school that we love and we are thrilled to extend that spirit to the community. We can’t wait to fill Carver-Hawkeye Arena with Fort Madison fans all wearing their Fort Madison Day shirts.”
Tickets are priced at $15 for youth and $20 for adults. The Fort Madison School District will also offer transportation to and from the game for an additional $12 per ticket.
To ensure t-shirts are delivered before Christmas, tickets must be purchased by Sunday, November 30. Orders placed after that date are not guaranteed to include a t-shirt.
