FORT MADISON - According to information from the City of Fort Madison released Thursday, the BNSF bridge in Fort Madison will be closed weekends beginning Saturday, Jan. 31 through March 9 from Saturday noon to Monday at noon.
Those dates are week later than the railroad had originally scheduled to stop vehicle traffic. However, these dates are still subject to change.
