This self-guided tour is designed to showcase available commercial properties throughout the downtown district and help prospective tenants, entrepreneurs, investors, and dreamers envision their future in Fort Madison.
Participants will be able to:
• Step inside vacant storefronts and commercial spaces
• Speak directly with property owners or representatives
• Discover the hidden potential behind some of downtown’s most iconic buildings
• Receive information on zoning codes, building permits and incentives available.
• Discover resources and opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs
“This event is all about helping people picture what’s possible in our downtown,” said Savanna Collier, Executive Director of the Fort Madison Area Chamber of Commerce. “Whether you’re ready to open a business or just curious about what’s available, this is a fun and welcoming way to explore our community’s potential.”
A list of participating properties will be available on our Facebook Page soon. Volunteers and property owners will be on hand to answer questions, provide tours, and share the stories behind these spaces.
