Democrats to caucus Feb. 2

Delegates and strategies on tap for evening caucuses

LEE COUNTY - The Lee County Democrats will be holding their platform and delegate conference Monday, February 2nd, beginning at 7 p.m.
Attendees must be in-line or signed-in by 7 pm to participate.
Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
Democrats will meet at the following location(s):
• Central Lee High School Cafeteria, 2642 Highway 218, Donnellson, IA - Cedar, Charleston, Marion, Harrison, Franklin, Van Buren, Jefferson, West Point, and Montrose Townships 
• Keokuk Middle School Cafeteria, 2002 Orleans Avenue, Keokuk, IA - Ke1, Ke2a, Ke2b, Ke3, Ke4, Ke5, Ke6, Ke7, and Des Moines and Jackson Townships.
• Fort Madison Elementary Library, 502 48th Street, Ft, Madison, IA - FM1, FM 2, FM3, FM4a, FM4b, FM5/Madison Township, and Washington, Green Bay, Pleasant Ridge, and Denmark Townships
The purpose of this year’s caucus is to:

1. Strategize as a county on our goals of 2026
2. Elect Delegates and Alternates to the County Convention.
3. Elect Precinct Committee Persons to the County Central Committee.
4. Discuss and adopt proposed resolutions to be added to the county platform.
The precinct caucus is a great way to get involved in grassroots activities with the Iowa Democratic Party.
All Iowa Democrats are encouraged to attend, registration is available on-site.
Iowans who will be 18 on or by November 3, 2026 can register to vote and participate in the caucus.
