FORT MADISON - The Friends of Sheaffer Capital Campaign continues to gain momentum through the generous support of local businesses, families, and community members committed to the future of Sheaffer Golf Course.
As part of the campaign, individual donors are being recognized through a series of check presentations highlighting the many supporters who have chosen to invest in this important community project.
The project was kicked off with a $50,000 contribution from the Sheaffer family. Several local agencies made $25,000 contributions including Pilot Grove Savings Bank; Schickedanz Construction; Connection Bank; and Menke & Co.; and the Van Aken Family.
The Snaadt family donated $15,000; Larry and Carolyn Smith donated $10,000; and Huffman Farm & Home/Huffman Welding donated $5,000.
The Friends of Sheaffer committee extends its sincere appreciation to the Pilot Grove Savings Bank for their generous investment and commitment to preserving and improving Sheaffer Golf Course for generations to come.
The campaign welcomes additional individuals, families, and businesses who would like to be part of the effort. Every contribution helps move the project closer to its goals and strengthens the future of this valued community asset.
